Best E-liquid ecc 2018
During my time at Shijin Vapor they won best e-liquid award for the second time. We wanted to promote that award and we needed a cool unique photograph to use for advertising. Working along with the creative director, we decided to use some of my color lighting techniques and smoke. Glass is very difficult to photograph due to reflections. Luckily I was able to remove reflections with my retouching skills and I enhanced the letters on the trophy to make them pop.
The first image on the left is the raw file straight out of the camera. the second image is my retouched edit and third is a banner we used on the website giving our supporters a discount code for taking another ecc award. I always photograph my images with negative space to allow for text. The retouched image was used to advertise on social media as well but that did not include text.
3 New Flavors
Our goal was to come up with something that wouldn't give away any hints of what the new flavors being released would be of but we wanted to announce that new flavors were coming. We were going to use simple silhouette artwork but I decided that we could make something better and unique by photographing it.
Vape Maid New Flavors Email Banner
My next project was to make a new e-mail banner to advertise Shijin Vapor's new flavors. I wanted to create something a little more playful that had a seamless transition from top to bottom. I grabbed fruit from the refrigerator, it wasn't in the best condition, but I thought it was worth a try. I started to cut things and place them on white plexiglass. Luckily it was a cloudy day outside so I did not have harsh reflections. I had the text in mind on where I would position it. I retouched the fruit to make it look alive. The result was a playful banner that gave off a very attractive feel with the delicious fruit on it.
Pop Up Ads
Creating ads that would appear on the browser of random users. The first three banners were made using our gallery of photographs from professional photographers. I had to edit their images to fit the ad dimensions by cloning to expand it. The last one was made using a photograph I took because we did not have an existing photo that would work with what I had invisioned. I took it into my own hands and went outside to work my magic.
