Hi, my name is Javier Flores but I prefer to go by Javi. While I was in college I discovered graphic design. The moment I took my first design class it was obvious that I wanted to do this as a career for the rest of my life. It never felt like work, it was always fun for me and every project was exciting. Kind of like getting a new video game and playing it for the first time.
Throughout my design journey I've come to realize that images are a huge part of graphic design. Often when I would receive images from photographers, I noticed that the photographers would not take into consideration negative space for possible text. I decided to learn photography to improve my design layouts with precise clarity. While learning photography I also learned how to edit photos, because lets face it, almost every professional level picture that you see out in the world is heavily retouched. Whether it is the next place that you're planning on spending your next vacation, a new gadget, or the models you see on magazines.
I love what I do and I am adept at graphic design, photo retouching and photography. My work strongly shows the passion and skills that I have. I wish I could tell you that for fun I do something exciting like sky diving, but no, this is my kind of fun. These are the things I enjoy in my free time and I am always learning new skills to take my work to the the next level and to be able to create anything my clients or I can imagine. Currently, I am learning 3d software. Anyways that's me below! Cheers!
