Project Summary
While working with BevMo, I produces a series of seasonal cocktail videos for YouTube and social media aimed at inspiring customers to try new drinks showcasing featured products available in store. The Goal was to create visually engaging, easy to follow tutorials that guided viewers through each cocktail recipe step by step.
My role covered both the creative and technical production process. I developed mood boards to establish the visual style and seasonal tone, created detailed shot lists for client approval, and handled art direction and set styling.
I was responsible for lighting setup, product staging, video editing, and handling the 3 camera setup. In addition, I managed a product and prop list with associated costs to keep the shoot organized and within budget.

Challenges
One of the main challenges during production was maintaining the visual quality of ingredients under continuous studio lighting, which increased room temperature and caused ice to melt quickly and fresh garnishes like mint leaves to wilt. Another challenge was managing the reflections on glass liquor bottles, as the lighting and surrounding equipment often created glare that could distract from the product.
Solution
To address these challenges, we prepared backup ingredients and frequently replaced garnishes and ice to maintain a fresh look throughout filming. Lighting setups were carefully adjusted to reduce reflections while keeping labels visible. A three camera setup top down, angled, and a slider shot helped capture both clear instructional steps and visually engaging visuals. In post production, the editing focused on highlighting key steps and maintaining a clean, easy to follow flow that performed well on social media channels.
Additional Work
On top of the cocktail videos we did for BevMo, I also created other digital assets such as social media content and emails. It varied from photography stills, stop motion, to creating 3d renders. The great thing about my skillset that sets me apart from regular graphic designers is that in a time crunch when buying product or setting studio isn't or spending money is not an option, I can photoshop composite or 3d create things to look very realistic thanks to the many years of experience I bring.
